Creating a Product Listing for Shopify
-
Start from the Home Screen: Once you're logged into Shopify, look for "Products" on the left-hand side. Go ahead and click on that!
-
Add Your Product: Now, in the top right corner, you'll see a button that says "Add Product." Give it a click to start creating your listing.
-
Title and Description: Time to get creative! Write a catchy title and a detailed description for your product. If you’re feeling stuck, you can use ChatGPT to brainstorm some ideas!
-
Upload Photos: Now, let's make your product shine! Upload clear, crisp photos that show off your item from different angles. Great visuals can really help grab a buyer's attention.
-
Set Price and SKU: Next, it’s time to price your product. Think about what you want to charge and enter it here. Don’t forget to create a descriptive SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) to help you keep track of your inventory!
-
Edit Shipping Locations: Scroll down to the location settings. Make sure you select only the Slant 3D Print Farm as your shipping location. This step is important to ensure your products ship correctly.
-
Double-Check Everything: Before you hit save, take a moment to review all the fields. Make sure everything looks good, and a quick spell check never hurts!
-
Save Your Listing: Finally, head to the bottom of the page and click “Save.” Congratulations! You just created your first Shopify product.
