Slant 3D is giving students the chance to win $1,000 cash, simply by selling your own 3D printed products through Portals. This is your opportunity to turn designs into real products, share them with the world, and get rewarded for your creativity.
What is Portals?
Portals is our new platform built to make selling 3D printed products easier than ever. Instead of dealing with storefronts, print farms, or logistics, you can:
Upload a 3D model
Set your price
Get an instant product link to share anywhere (TikTok, Instagram, Discord, etc.)
Slant 3D will handle all the printing, packing, and shipping of your products.
All you do is focus on selling awesome products. We’ll take care of the rest.

How the Prize Works
We want to encourage more students to bring their ideas to life, so we launched the Portals Student Launchpad:
Sign up for Portals with your .edu email address
Upload a product (or multiple products) and share your links
When your sales hit $1,000 in revenue, we’ll pay you an additional $1,000 cash prize
That’s it. No complicated rules, no hidden steps. Just design, share, and sell.
Why Now is the Perfect Time
We’re heading into the holiday season, when demand for creative, unique products skyrockets. Whether it’s phone stands, organizers, cookie cutters, or custom merch for your school club, there are endless products that you can sell.
Portals makes it possible for a student in a dorm room to have the same reach as a company with a warehouse. One viral post could turn your idea into hundreds of orders, backed by our 3D print farms that can meet your demand.

Terms of the Slant 3D Student Portals Prize
1. Overview
Students with a valid .edu email address may participate in the Portals Prize. If a Participant generates $1,000.00 USD in gross qualifying sales through Teleport Portals during the Promotional Period, the Company will pay that Participant an additional $1,000.00 USD (the “Bonus”), subject to these Terms & Conditions and fraud/verification review.
2. Eligibility
Participant must be a natural person and have a currently active .edu email account in their own name.
The Company reserves the right to require additional proof of student status (see §4).
3. Qualifying Sales (What Counts)
“Qualifying Sales” are orders placed by external customers through a Participant’s connected ecommerce store and fulfilled via Teleport’s Teleport/Portals service during the Promotional Period.
Net qualifying sales = total paid by customers minus refunds, returns, cancellations, chargebacks, taxes collected, and shipping fees.
Orders that are self-sold, sold to friends/family at zero/nominal price, or otherwise appear manufactured to inflate sales are not qualifying.
4. Verification & Documentation
Before Bonus payout, the Company will verify:
Ownership/association of the .edu email (email confirmation plus secondary ID when requested).
The Participant’s sales ledger: order IDs, order dates, customer names (or anonymized transaction IDs), amounts, fulfilment/shipping confirmations, and payment processor records.
Shipping/tracking info for fulfilled orders (where applicable).The Company may request scanned IDs, screenshots, additional order-level documentation, or records from payment processors. Failure to provide requested documentation within the time window provided will result in disqualification and forfeiture of the Bonus.
5. Fraud — Definitions & Examples
Fraud includes, but is not limited to:
Creating fake or sham orders, fake customers, or using bots/scripts to generate orders.
Collusive arrangements to route money through Teleport to create artificial sales volume.
Use of stolen payment cards, knowingly facilitating or receiving payments from stolen/fraudulent sources.
Multiple accounts created to evade limits or to appear as multiple independent Participants.
Chargebacks, reversals, or refunds that leave the Company unable to recover the net sale value.
Any attempt to manipulate traffic, conversion metrics, or order attribution to claim the Bonus improperly.
6. Detection, Audit & Right to Reject Payment
The Company will monitor for suspicious patterns (e.g., rapid order creation, many orders to the same shipping address, high chargeback rate, identical IPs or payment sources, unusual refund profiles).
If the Company reasonably suspects fraud, policy abuse, or attempted manipulation, it may:
Withhold Bonus payment pending investigation;
Decline to pay the Bonus in whole or in part;
Disqualify the Participant and reclaim already-paid Bonuses (see §7);
Report suspected criminal activity to law enforcement.
The Company’s decisions about suspicion, investigation outcomes, and payment are final and at the Company’s sole discretion, provided they are exercised in good faith.
7. Withholding, Clawback & Recovery
If a Bonus has already been paid and subsequent investigation shows fraud, chargebacks, or other disqualifying conduct, the Company may:
Require return of funds (clawback);
Offset amounts against future payouts owed to the Participant;
Pursue collection and legal remedies.
Participants agree to return improperly awarded funds upon demand.
8. Appeal Process
A Participant who is disqualified or whose Bonus is withheld may submit an appeal within 14 calendar days of notification, providing evidence to rebut the Company’s findings.
Appeals should include the requested documentation and a written explanation. The Company will review and respond, and the Company’s determination after appeal is final.
9. Taxes & Reporting
Bonus payments may be subject to tax reporting (e.g., issuance of Form 1099 or local equivalent). Participants are responsible for any taxes and reporting obligations.
The Company may require tax documentation or forms before paying the Bonus (W-9, W-8BEN, etc.).
10. Privacy & Data Use
The Company will use personal and transaction data only to verify eligibility, detect fraud, administer payments, and as otherwise permitted under its Privacy Policy and applicable law.
By participating, Participants consent to the Company’s use of relevant data for these purposes and to limited disclosure to fraud investigators, payment processors, or law enforcement as required.
11. Limitation of Liability & No Guarantee
Payment of the Bonus is conditional on meeting these Terms and on successful verification. Participation does not guarantee any income beyond legitimately earned sales.
The Company is not liable for lost, late, misdirected, or undeliverable payments attributable to inaccuracies in Participant information.
12. Modification, Suspension & Termination
The Company reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Promotional Program or these Terms at any time, including cancelling the Bonus, in its sole discretion if fraud risk, technical problems, or other issues occur.
The Company will post updates to program rules and may notify Participants via the .edu email address on file.
13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of [State/Country — insert jurisdiction], without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
14. Contact & Notices
Questions or appeals regarding Bonus decision should be emailed to: promotions@slant3d.com (or the Company’s designated prize operations address).
Notices to Participants will be sent to the .edu email used at signup.
15. Acceptance
By participating you agree to these Terms & Conditions and to cooperate with any verification or investigation. The Company’s enforcement measures (withholding, rejection, clawback, reporting) are designed to protect legitimate Participants and Teleport’s platform integrity.
