Learn How Teleport Works

  • Does Teleport require a subscription?
    Teleport is totally free to start and use. However, you can get additional features and materials with a premium subscription.
  • How much does it cost to fulfill an order?
    Each file is instantly quoted after uploading, based on size and complexity. This determines CostToPrint Shipping is calculated after an order is placed, based on weight and destination. This determines CostToShip CostToPrint + CostToShip = TotalFulfillmentCost
  • What machines are used and what is their build volume?
    SlantBox V17 with Textured Build Plate. Similar to P1P or MK4 machines. The build volume is 220mm x 220mm x 220mm or 8.6in x 8.6in x 8.6in.
  • What are the print settings?
    0.2 Layer Height | 25% infill | Supported Overhangs >50 Degrees | 1mm Wall Thickness | Seam at Rear | No Brims
  • What materials and colors are available?
    PLA - Glossy Black, Matte Black, White, Grey, Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple, Pink, and Metallic Gold PETG - Glossy Black
  • What file types can I use with Teleport?
    We currently only support STL files for upload.
  • Can I order samples before going live?
    Yes, Teleport features a Prototyper tab inside your Admin Dashboard. You can prototype any of your uploaded models in order to test printability and verify quality.
  • Do you paint or assemble products?
    In order to keep our turnaround time under 5 days, we do not paint or assemble any parts.
  • Are parts inspected before shipping?
    Yes, every part goes through 3 QC checkpoints before leaving our print farms. Once after the part is pulled from the printer, once at post-processing, and once before the order is packed.
  • How are supports handled?
    Yes, supports are removed during post-processing.
  • Does Teleport offer multicolor printing?
    We do not offer multicolor printing within the same part. However, multiple parts with different colors can be matched to a single product listing.
  • How do I match different products and variants?
    Create product variants with individual SKUs in your store, then upload the corresponding STL files in Teleport and link them in the Matches tab.
  • Where can I find STL files to sell?
    You can find commercially licensed STL files on sites like Printables, MakerWorld, Thingiverse, and more. Just make sure the license allows for commercial use.
  • How fast do you ship?
    Most orders ship in 3–5 business days and we are working hard to get that down to under 2 days. However times of high-demand may cause times to increase temporarily.
  • How much does shipping cost?
    Roughly $5 for items under 1 lb and around $11 for items over 1 lb, though it varies based on size and destination.
  • Do you ship internationally?
    Yes, we support international fulfillment, letting you reach a global audience.
  • What does packaging look like?
    Standard brown box with paper padding. Small parts are bagged to ensure safety.
