Luke Edwin has 110K Subscribers on Youtube. And he makes content about photography. But he is also a bit into 3D Printing.
He made a MACRO Lens Mod for the Insta360 GO Ultra. It was a deceptively simple piece. Deceptively simple because getting all of these components to fit perfectly can be a challenge. But he made an entire video about this project. A Video that has over 20K Views.
But he just did it as a project. And he was sharing the file for other people to 3D Print. But people without 3D Printers couldn't get one. But about a month after this video, Portals came out.
Portals allowed Luke to upload his model and have a live product listing in about 1 minute. He added the Portal link to the description of his video and within a few days he had sold $100's of the macro lense adapters. And had started his own product business. You can see his Portal Here
And the best part. He didn't have to do anything else. When he gets an order from Portals the product is printed, packed, and shipped, for Luke. He doesn't even have to have a shopify site. He just has the Portals listing and then he sets his profit.
It is so exciting to see what Portals has enabled. Anyone can upload a product and instantly have a giant print farm making their product. So what are you waiting for. Make a Portal today. Takes a couple of minutes.
